Display only labels on a scatter plot
For example, plotting two values for all 50 states in an X-Y scatter plot. Rather than displaying a dot and labeling only outliers, remove the dot, and plot the labels (2 letter state code).

Using color, sizing, other options, have ability to create a legend which indicating intervals
*Color - white at range min, blue at max, mid shade at mid point
*Size - smallest at range min, largest at max, etc...

If 9 or less unique values, add ability to Trelis by that value (i.e., create a seperate chart with just those values). Individual graphs would need to state what the value is they represent.

Control timestamp labels on axis
One of my axis is timestamps on my bar chart. Based on the data, verifiable helpfully put labels on day boundaries. For my needs (to illustrate my point), I need labels (or at least clear tick marks or a grid) at least every 4 hours, every 2 would be better.

allow user to chart the open/close value within a bin
For example, when charting stock prices and binning by quarter, I need to chart the quarter's opening or closing price (instead of the median, average, etc.).
For comparison, Yahoo Finance let you do this for historical prices (when granularity is monthly) -- it gives you open, high, low, close ... more

Add support for control charts

A chart type with line and point display, but the ability to specify spec and control limits - maybe through keyword column names (USL, UCL, TAR, LCL, LSL), so that SPC violations are clear. Stats like Cpk, %OOC would be cool too.
